Okay, this song is technically and originally done by Peter Frampton, and it’s fabulous. His guitar solos are insane and long and like no other. However, I’m pretty sure the first time I heard this song was in 1994 on the soundtrack of the movie Reality Bites, which I probably have to admit is in my top 10 -or maybe even 5- all-time favorite movies. So since my outfit feels so ’90s, and this version of the song reminds me of the ’90s, and happens to be my preferred version {shhh, don’t tell} though I could almost do without the saxophone solos, I thought it was entirely appropriate. Also, it’s just great, so listen to it.
Spring is such a tease, don’t you think? One warm day and I’m buying my summer wardrobe only to have to wear jeans and a sweater AGAIN. It’s a bummer I tell ya, which I’m sure you know, because you’re a human and alive and most probably have experienced spring and if you’re in this part of the universe, you are experiencing it right now too. But I’m ready for a tan in a major way right now… and until then I’ll keep slathering on the tanning lotion in darker and darker shades.
I actually wore this at the beginning of winter with black tights.
