Like fashion and personal style, makeup allows us to be whomever we want to be. We all have our own reasons for wearing it, how we wear it, or choosing not to wear it at all is part of our identity.
From the colors we’re drawn to and the application we choose, makeup can enhance our features, disguise our flaws, give us an entirely new identity and/or be an artistic expression for how we want to present ourselves to the world.
Makeup has always been an art form, using brushes and color palettes the way an artist would, it just seems like today there are so many more incredible ways to share this form of art with the world that didn’t exist in the past… and it’s truly amazing to get to see people from all over the world share their form of artistic expression.
I love how Australian makeup artist Tatiana not only creates lip and eye masterpieces, but the photos she shares of her work are so beautiful, I want to blow them up and hang them on a few different walls and rooms in my house.
