my style Winter 2009 outfits

Completely Gratuitous Outfit / Vintage Levis & Oversized Sweater

What I’m Wearing
Jeans: Old Levi’s
Sweater: Vintage
Platforms: Calvin Klein

1. I washed my hair yesterday with Dove shampoo and Garnier Fructis conditioner and let it dry on its own. Um, it’s kind of blowing my mind how awesome cheap products are making it look considering I spend $32 a bottle for Fekkai Shampoo and Conditioner and all I get are tangles …WTF?

2. I’ve been on the hunt for a good pair of “boyfriend jeans” for a while sans holes. Don’t get me wrong, I like the deconstructed look but I can’t really wear them to work. Last night as I was trying to fall asleep {watching Top Gun …which means, I wasn’t even close to falling asleep because that movie is so freaking awesome} I remembered this pair of jeans that I had stashed in a bag to go to the Denim Doctor and realized I could cuff them up and they would be perfect! However, I wasn’t too creative with them this morning …thus the sweater …but I’m comfy …and excited to see what else I can do with these jeans. Also, I got these heels about 6 months ago on sale and have been saving them for spring. They’re faux snakeskin {the leather is imprinted} and they’re a really cool copper color {which looks darker in the photos than in reality} and unbelievable comfy. you can find them here: Calvin Klein Women’s Parma Platform Sandal

3. I’ve changed my work schedule to Tues/Thurs/Friday …which is working out so much better for me …but possibly not as great for outfit posts. I hate two in a row so I may have to only do two a week …because let’s just be honest here, when I work from home, I’m pretty much in sweats and uggs.
