* Vintage red leather jacket (was vintage when I bought it over twenty years ago! the leather is still like butter… seen here and here) – this red blazer would give you the look! Or this Marc Jacobs red trench (which is slightly more expensive 😉
* Dripping C’s crop mock tank (cute striped mock crop tank here)
* AYR cropped black chinos (THE VAULT PANTS -New) – had a similar vintage pair in the ’90s that I LIVED IN but these fit far better. I love the slight flair at the bottom.

* Lieutnant’s hat / Fisherman cap / Fiddler’s Cap
* Jeffery Campbell ankle strap sandals – Still favorites! This is my second pair in black. They’re comfy and easy and flattering and I love them.

Feeling spring in the air!!! Even though it’s still pretty damn chilly out, I’ll take this sunshine over the gloomy skies any day of the week. I almost prefer the snow to the rain because after the snow it’s always sunny and blue skies here and all sparkling white glittering snow everywhere. It’s so beautiful. But I’m definitely ready for warm days and fresh blooms and all things spring and SUMMER. NOW .

This song just gets me… and I hope it gets you too. It makes me cry strong/happy/fuckyeah tears and it’s one of a few that I have on repeat right now to keep me going when I crack and break and crumble into a million pieces (which is at least once a day right now -the stress and pressure is so overwhelming I can’t even pretend that everything is okay). I have to thank my stepdad for texting it to me last week saying it was my new theme song, because it made me feel strong in the midst of weakness not only to listen to it, but to know that someone thought I was a champion even though it’s the last thing I felt to be true.
I didn’t get a chance to write a #MondayMotivation post yesterday, so I’ll make up for it with this song and the lyrics… because it will definitely motivate you to kick some major ass this week!
