{ummm, the shadows on my face here make me look like that old woman portrait at the Haunted Mansion at Disneyland}
What I’m Wearing …super casual day
* SEA NY pink & ivory floral print dress …this is the same as my leopard print dress by Sea NY which I love so much …and when I saw it in more colors I just had to buy them at the next GILT sale. HOWEVER, the fabric on this one {and the blue one I bought too} is cotton and the leopard print one is Silk and hangs {not to mention feels} much much better. But they were final sales and since Summer’s over {but 110 degrees here} I thought why not wear it once before I have to wait a year to wear it next Spring/Summer. {also, the boss was out and I just wanted to be comfy today}
* Vintage man’s denim shirt
* Leopard print sheer scarf. {THIS actually isn’t a scarf at all but a yard of fabric I found the last time I was at JoAnns. Though I did intend on using it as a scarf – sheer fabrics work the best}
* Vera Wang ivory oxford slingback wedges
* Tom Ford cat eye sunglasses
*
* I kept jewelry to a minimum wearing only my Tiffany silver lock pendant necklace and a white gold hearts ring courtesy of LuShae Jewelry …which is actually very sweet!

Even though I should probably be focussed on Halloween costume DIYs right now, I started {what I think is} a fabulous wedding DIY this weekend fully intending on finishing it for a Tuesday post. And while I knew it would be time consuming, I had no idea that after two days of meticulous hand-stitching, I wouldn’t even be half way complete! At this point, it’s less of a DIY and more of a custom couture piece. I’m going to try my hardest to get it done for a Thursday DIY post but I may need an entire week to finish it. We’ll see. It’s really pretty though 😉
* If you haven’t joined our BlogFrog Community yet, you totally should. It’s great for quick Q&A’s about SoCal, Kids, Family, Relationships, Money …and today, Fashion, in which I asked what your biggest and most embarrassing clothing malfunction was …and I’d love it if you shared yours

It’s a testament to your strong character that you posted the first pic anyway. I did that too, but keep having second thoughts about it. Now that you’ve done it, I’ll leave mine up.

You do not look like an old woman!!! I love the shoes and the ring!! It’s too cold now for bare legs here so I think I can finally break out my skirts now that I can cover my glow in the dark trunks. 🙂 XOXO
