With so many clean lines and minimalistic collections on the Spring runways, the random frilly ruffle here and there was like a pop of color in a sea of black and white ensembles. Next up in my Spring 2013 Fashion Trends refresher series is jut that, the random yet large ruffle, that popped up around the neck and hemline, and everywhere in between. In many looks, it was seemingly pointless and lonely, but added just the right amount of femininity to the sleek lines. It’s like the big ruffle met the peplum and decided it wanted to be anywhere but the waist. I’m kind of loving it though. Gucci and Givenchy are faves! Which are your favorites?
