I was SO EXCITED for this week… Monday was my birthday, but what made it especially, well, special, was that it was the day we were to launch The Shelby Dress I had the opportunity to design and sell with Trunkist. And then I woke up on Monday morning and my blog was down by 8am… and then my server was down for two days straight… which literally stole all the excitement and steam from my sails about my dress and though it was not my worst birthday ever, it was in the top five. Life is crazy and timing is crazy and sometimes plans don’t work out, but thank you to those who have purchased my dress, it makes me so excited to see another sale, so thank you. Unfortunately, it won’t go into production until it sells at least 100 units, and I’m not sure that’s a realistic goal at this point, but I’m still hoping more eyes will see it and want to have it hanging in their own closet too… because it’s really cute, though I may be a bit biased 😉
Saturday vibes… This Bobe, Trevor, has become my best doggy model because he’s just a natural. When they were puppies, I was sure it was going to be Randy because he poses so well for snacks… but Trevor is just always doing something silly. He’s more sensitive than Randy and such a cuddle-lover… Randy’s the rambunctious one who goes crazy barking and howling when he sees a car drive by and still wants to nibble at human fingers when they greet him. It still blows my mind how different they are and I love them both madly.
A little free time for sketching Friday night makes me happy… The beginnings of a Lady Gaga drawing & the dying roses on the edge of my desk.
