Simply Casual Outfit with DIY Anklestrap Ballet Flats

What I’m Wearing…

Dress: jersey tank with 3″ satin hem, Forever 21
Belt: vintage -leather/gold
Shoes: JCrew Satin Flats with DIY Anklestrap
Necklace: vintage/grandma’s – knotted
Sweater: old VS Boyfriend sweater that I cut up the middle and turned into a cardigan {it doesn’t fray …even after washing ….I only hang to dry though. As most of my clothes, I hang to dry as to not lose shape and/or color.
Sunglasses: Tom Ford

I have been a bit absent from blogland for a while due to the death of our grandma and a bit of depression having to do with, yet again, not being pregnant. I think at this point, it’s time to take a break from baby making …It’s just too emotional and now’s maybe not the best time anyway. gulp*

Satin JCrew satin flats DON’T STAY ON ~ So, I got some nice thin black elastic and stitched on a little mary jane strap and now they don’t slip off CLICK HERE FOR THE FULL DIY

I love this necklace. It’s a gold chain with black beading intertwined. It’s actually much longer but I knotted it up to look like a flower/choker today. I also twist it and wear it as a bracelet on occasion.

~Happy Wednesday!~

    omg!
at first I thought that was underwear but then I noticed it was a shoe. :@
    but anyways dear Meg:
maybe that dream that dream with the kicking girl means something after all.

if only our your boss would see this pics you would be in serious trouble missy.

if you aske me don’t think about having a baby, just do it and it will appear like magic.
but then again I’m compleatly cluessless of how that stuff works, I think there’s like timing and sh*t + positions with your legs up involved….:@
    don’t lisent to me.

ooh, that’s a good point, Rachel. WE DO need a new bed but were going to wait until we bought a house so we didn’t have to trash our old one. But good point. I’ve also heard not to switch beds if you’ve already become pregnant …but since that isn’t the case, maybe we should give it a try. 🙂 thanks!

Sorry to hear about your grandmother. Saying good bye to our love ones is never easy.

You make me chuckle- I sure hope your boss doesn’t have a hidden camera somewhere!

As for the baby… I’m sorry things are not going as planned. I have heard from others when they don’t think about it, things happen. I was unable to have children and knew how I felt during the trying time so my heart goes out to you! I will send positive thoughts your way.
