For my 30th b-day, the husband and I rented out Skateland in Northridge and threw and 80’s themed roller disco. It was hilariously amazing and totally awesome! This was one of my most memorable birthdays because during the hokey-pokey, while I was standing in the middle of a circle of our friends, turning myself around, the husband wobbly rolled in towards me on one knee and proposed.
Two years earlier, in 2004, he told me he would propose on my 30th birthday …and he did. It was so totally radically I can’t even begin to explain it! So I’ll leave it at that and say… we lived happily ever after.
This photo above was taken right after he proposed – we had to all roll around and hug without falling down. Hilarious!
