1. My mom and cousin came up for a visit and on our walk back from the Village, we spotted this amazing tree of droopy white flower balls and couldn’t help but grab a few for the house… wearing my Superga sneakers in navy… I just bought another pair in grey. I can’t resist them.
2. Husband and I went out for Mexican the other night and this coconut strawberry margarita was to die for… yum!
3. I got new sunglasses which I LOVE, though they’re kind of wide {even on my big head} and tend to slip down a lot, I still love the shape. They’re Square Tortoise Sunglasses by Stella McCartney
4. Bowling ball graveyard… {there were about 20 more on the other side of the tree}

diamond rings infinity bands

Favorite rings combo of the moment… 1. Diamond and Platinum wedding band 2. Champagne Diamonds with Rose Gold 3. Diamonds & Sapphires with White Gold

3. The flowers on this tree were incredible… I asked instagram what it was, InstaPeeps told me Golden Chain, Golden Shower, Golden Ladder, and Laburnum 😉

1. Little Lord Leroy…
2. Family moments with the dogs… via my Lilacs post
3. Me & mom… 1979. I think it was my birthday wearing a red and white striped bikini
4. 80’s Family Photo 😉 We pretty much grew up with a single mom, this was my family. NOTE: it was Christmas time, the HUGE BOW was actually on the door, not on my mom’s head, but we laughed about it about 6months later when we got the photos developed, lol} … I kind of wish I had that gingham bubble peplum dress now, because I’d totally wear it, though I’d skip the crimping iron this time.

Happy Sunday Lovecats!

Hope you’re having a wonderful weekend!

    Hey, Sunshine! ….You could DIY a new peplum dress or skirt!! Just ‘copy’ the one you wore in the photo! You can do it, for sure!

    p.s. I just thought of something….As I recall, my mom had a black/white checked (gathered at waist) “half apron”….what about you making a gathered waist apron all the way around and tie it in the back? For the same look. And wear it over a black pencil skirt. Wear with a black top. Just a thought……
