Since we’re just over a week away from Cinco de Mayo I thought it would be fun to round up a bunch of festive party ideas this week for inspiration… and even though yesterday’s Fresh Pineapple Margarita was the real kickoff, these fun multi-striped, burro piñata sugar cookies say Cinco de Mayo like nothing else and are far more kid-friendly than margaritas, don’t you think? 🙂

The recipe admittedly looks like a little bit more work than I’d like to participate in, but given the circumstances, I may just spend an entire afternoon making them… and you may too.
