As you know, I’ve partnered with Smirnoff Ice® to celebrate Football Season, and along with my Tips to Making your GameDay Homegating Event Chic Football Headquarters I’ve created this super delicious and easy-to-make watermelon slushie to share with your girls on GameDay, because YUMMMM!
Now, you may ask, Why on earth do I need to make a cocktail when Smirnoff Ice® has so many yummy flavors at the pop of a cap? And the answer is, BECAUSE THIS JUST MAKES IT EVEN BETTER.
Watermelon usually reminds me of summer… and that’s basically what I was going for with this FANtail because as much as I love the snow, I’m already looking forward to the warm summer months on the lake, relaxing in the sun with this very drink in my hand. So if you can find a watermelon at your local grocery store, then you’re pretty much in luck all year long.
Here’s What You’ll Need…
- Smirnoff Ice® Watermelon Mimosa
- Freshly cut watermelon {fresh or frozen}
- Ice
- Rosemary sprigs & watermelon slices to garnish
Quick Steps…
Prepare your watermelon by cutting it into cubes or small chunks.
TIP: If you want your slushies REALLY smooth and REALLY frozen, then freeze your watermelon the night before and use frozen chunks!
Toss about one cup watermelon chunks into your blender.
Add one bottle of Smirnoff Ice® Watermelon Mimosa…
Add a cup of ice… and BLEND BABY BLEND.
Pour into cute glasses…
Slide a thinly cut slice of watermelon along the rim, a cute sprig of rosemary, and a fun GameDay straw….
And… Voila!
Makes two drinks.
